Our History

Founded in 1968 by the French veterinarian Dr. Jean Cathary, ROYAL CANIN® is a global leader in pet health through nutrition. The mission of the brand is to help to transform the health and well-being of each cat and dog by pushing the limits of nutrition and knowledge in partnership with petprofessionals. Thanks to science and observation, for over 50 years Royal Canin has been developing products and services tailored to each cat and dog’s breed, size, age, sensitivities, lifestyle, or daily energy need.
